The prices in real estate in Kolkata, in the West Bengal region have had a minor fall in the last couple of months. The real estate prices for second hand homes have fallen in this city
The price per sq.foot in Kolkata has fallen in the last 6 months. In October, the average price per sq.foot was ₹ 4,464. In November this price pretty much remained the same at a value of ₹ 4,675 per sq.foot. The price for the following two months in (December, January) decreased 88 % with regard to the prior two months. The price per sq.foot has decreased 93 % in the last two months compared to the average price for the previous four months. This was obtained by comparing the first four months of the period going from a price per sq.foot of ₹ 4,288.75 to ₹ 3,970 during February, and March.
Based upon to the price in Kolkata (cities), this has gone up considerably in the last 6 months. The average price during our first sample month during October, is ₹ 45.79 lakhs. During November the price went through a considerable rise reaching ₹ 61.14 lakhs. In the following two months the average price has remained the same with regard to the previous two months from ₹ 53.46 lakhs to ₹ 53.06 lakhs. During the last two months, the average price has pretty much remained the same with regard to the previous average values going from an average value of ₹ 53.26 lakhs and ₹ 52.65 lakhs between February and March.
