The average price in the Punjab region has had a slight decrease in recent months. There has been a deflation in the prices in this region.
The price per sq.foot in Punjab has risen in the last 6 months. During October, the average price per sq.foot was ₹ 18,407. The following month (November) the price increased to ₹ 19,328 per sq.foot. The price per sq.foot for the following two months practically stayed the same, going from ₹ 18,867.5 to ₹ 18,244 per sq.foot. In the last two months, the price per sq.foot has had a significant decrease of 71 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price of ₹ 18,555.75 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price of ₹ 13,089.5 per sq.foot for the last two months (February, March).
Based upon to the price in Punjab(region), this has increased considerably in the last 6 months. The average price in October is ₹ 62.09 lakhs. In November the price increased to ₹ 71.35 lakhs. The price in the following months (December, January) had a strong increment of 121 % going from ₹ 66.72 lakhs to ₹ 80.62 lakhs. During the last two months the price has risen 107 % compared to the previous average values going from ₹ 73.67 lakhs a ₹ 79.13 lakhs in February and March.

They are 72 % more affordable than the average price in Punjab followed by those with 2 with an average price of ₹ 42.14 lakhs. The most costly properties have 4 BHK. They are 115 % more expensive than the average followed by those properties with 3 BHK priced at ₹ 81.37 lakhs.
Based on the average price per sq.foot those properties with 2 BHK are the cheapest ones with a price of ₹ 5,702 / sq.foot being ₹ 13,077 / sq.foot the average value within the Punjab region. The properties with the most expensive average price are those with 4 BHK. These are 152 % more costly than the average followed by those with 3 BHK with a price of ₹ 6,280 / sq.foot.

"House" with an average price of ₹ 65,672 / sq.foot is the most costly type of property followed by "Land" at a price of ₹ 41,999 / sq.foot.
