The average rent price in the Punjab region has had a slight fall in recent months. There has been a fall in the rent prices in this region.
The price per sq.foot in Punjab has fallen in the last 6 months. During November, the average price per sq.foot was ₹ 27.22. The following month (December) the price had a considerable fall reaching ₹ 21.12 per sq.foot. The price per sq.foot for the following two months barely changed going from ₹ 24.17 to ₹ 23.82 per sq.foot. In the last two months, the price per sq.foot has had a significant rise of 121 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price of ₹ 23.99 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price of ₹ 29.05 per sq.foot for the last two months (March, April).
When referring to the price in Punjab(region), this has risen in the last 6 months. November has an average price of ₹ 26,825. During Decemberthe price had a slight fall till ₹ 24,979. The average price for the following two months (January, February) fell 95 % compared to the previous two. During the last two months the price has had a considerable rise of 146 % with respect to the previous four months going from ₹ 25,226.5 a ₹ 36,800.5.
