Property prices for rent in Tamil Nadu region
The average rent price in the Tamil Nadu region has had an strong rise in recent months. There has been a strong rise in the rent prices in this region.
The price per sq.foot in Tamil Nadu has risen considerably in the last 6 months. During October, the average price per sq.foot was ₹ 24.95. The following month (November) the price rose to ₹ 27.41 per sq.foot. The following two months (December, January) went through a rise of 109 % in the rent price per sq.foot rising from ₹ 26.18 to ₹ 28.53 per sq.foot. In the last two months, the price per sq.foot has risen 112 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price ₹ 27.35 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price ₹ 30.76 per sq.foot for the last two months (February, March).
When referring to the price in Tamil Nadu(region), this has risen in the last 6 months. The average rent price in October is ₹ 42,631. In November the price rose to ₹ 46,479. The price in the following months (December, January) had a strong rise of 116 % going from ₹ 44,555 to ₹ 51,649. During the last two months the average price has not gone through any changes and has gone from ₹ 48,102 to ₹ 46,565.5 during February and March.

They are 81 % cheaper than the average price in Tamil Nadu followed by those with 2 with an average price of ₹ 13,592. The most expensive properties have 4 BHK. Based on the average price per sq.foot those properties with 1 BHK are the most affordable ones with a price of ₹ 15.38 / sq.foot being ₹ 30 / sq.foot the average for Tamil Nadu. The properties with the lowest average price are those with 4 BHK. These are 3 % more affordable than the average followed by those with 3 BHK with a price of ₹ 22.14 / sq.foot.

Based upon the average cost per sq.foot the most affordable property type is "Flat with a an average price of ₹ 14.62 / sq.foot, followed by "Land" with a price of ₹ 19.05 / sq.foot. "Duplex" with an average price of ₹ 344 / sq.foot is the most expensive type of property followed by "Villa" at a price of ₹ 52.59 / sq.foot.
