The average rent price in the West Bengal region has had an strong rise in recent months. There has been a strong rise in the rent prices in this region.
The price per sq.foot in West Bengal has risen considerably in the last 6 months. During November, the average price per sq.foot was ₹ 28.25. In December the price barely changed remaining at ₹ 28.42 per sq.foot. In the following two months (January, February) the rent price per sq.foot has increased notably to a 202 %. In the last two months, the price per sq.foot has had a significant fall of 66 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price of ₹ 42.77 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price of ₹ 28.03 per sq.foot for the last two months (March, April).
When referring to the price in West Bengal (region), this has fallen in the last 6 months. November has an average price of ₹ 52,598. During Decemberthe price had a strong fall till ₹ 32,606. The price in the following months (January, February) had a strong rise of 170 % going from ₹ 42,602 to ₹ 72,461. During the last two months the price has had a considerable fall of 55 % with respect to the previous four months going from ₹ 57,531.5 a ₹ 31,655.
