The rent prices in real estate in Kangra, in the Himachal Pradesh region have risen considerably in the last couple of months. There has been a strong rise in the rent prices this city.
The price per sq.foot in Kangra has risen strongly during the last 6 months. In November, the average price per sq.foot was ₹ 8. In the following month the price per sq.foot rose considerably to ₹ 27.57. The price for the following two months in (January, February) had a considerable fall of 66 with regard to the previous two months. The price per sq.foot has risen 111 % in the last two months compared to the average price for the previous four months. This was obtained by comparing the first four months of the period going from a price per sq.foot of ₹ 14.75 to ₹ 16.42 during March, and April.
When referring to the price in Kangra (cities), this has risen considerably in the last 6 months. The average price during our first sample month during November, is ₹ 6,868. During December the price went through a considerable rise reaching ₹ 12,750. During the following two months (January, February) the average price had a considerable rise of 152 % with regard to the previous two months. Based on an analysis of the first four prices and the last two months the average price has had a strong increase of 118 % during the last two months.

At a price of ₹ 14,500 they are 43 % more affordable than the average price for Kangra . Based on the BHK values, properties with the most expensive rent prices are those with 3 BHK. With regard to the average price per sq.foot, those properties with 3 BHK are the most affordable ones at a cost of ₹ 13.89 / sq.foot, with an average ₹ 14.74 / sq.foot price in Kangra. Properties with the most expensive price when referring to the number of BHK / sq.foot are those with 1 BHK. They are 22 % more expensive than the average value aforementioned.
